The FATES-MLOps project has been funded by ANR. It will start in October 2024 with research works that focus on modelling Machine Learning workflows to reason on and check FATES (Fairness-Accountability-Transparency-Ethics-Safety) properties in a compositional way!

Two papers and one demo accepted at the SPLC’2024 conference in Luxemburg! The paper “Visualizing Variability Implemented with Object-Orientation and Code Clones: A Tale of Two Cities” is accepted as a short paper in the research track (preprint here). It is accompanied by a demo accepted in the tool demo track (preprint here). The third publication is accepted in the industry track, with the paper “Tracing and Fixing Inconsistencies in Clone-and-Own Tabular Data Models” (preprint here).

Mireille Blay Fornarinon will give a talk at the french professional society of computer science teachers and researchers (Specif campus) on “Sofware science in the LLM age: serving, mastering, or leading? an academic viewpoint” (in french “Science du logiciel à l’ère des LLM : servir, maîtriser ou diriger ? Un regard universitaire”). The talk will take place during the Specif Campus teaching day on May, 31st, 2024 in Strasbourg. The slides (in french) are available online.
